WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Our story began with a deep concern for the declining worth of locally caught fish and the challenges faced by our fishermen. Witnessing the struggle and recognizing the disconnect between South Shore consumers and their abundant seafood options, we knew that a change was essential.

OUR MISSION

Driven by the conviction that everyone should have access to fresh, sustainably sourced seafood, we launched our 501c initiative. Our aim was straightforward yet profound, to ensure that locally caught fish remains accessible and affordable for all. We believe in revitalizing the worth of these catches, cherishing their superior taste and quality.

CHAMPIONING LOCAL SEAFOOD

In a market dominated by imports from distant lands, we stand firm in our belief in the unmatched quality of our local catches. While supermarket shelves are filled with fish from far-off places like Iceland, Norway, or China, we advocate for the authenticity and benefits of choosing locally sourced seafood.

EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY

Breaking stereotypes and promoting education has been pivotal to our mission. We've spotlighted the intricate process behind catching and preserving fish, emphasizing traceability, and the unmistakable flavor of locally sourced seafood. Additionally, we've curated diverse menus, encouraging consumers to explore and savor the culinary possibilities our coastal waters offer.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

Choosing local isn't just about taste; it's a sustainable choice benefiting both consumers and the environment. We've actively worked to dispel misconceptions about fishermen and their practices, highlighting their role as stewards of the ocean and advocates for responsible fishing.
